Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026. These rules cover the site, not the substance of any document you go on to sign.

Using any generator on this site means you accept the terms below. Read them once; they are short on purpose.

What the generators are, and are not

Each generator assembles a document from information you type into labeled fields. That is the entire service. It is not a law firm, not a substitute for one, and the output is a starting draft, not a finished, guaranteed-compliant legal instrument. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using this site, ever, under any circumstance.

Your responsibility to check state law

Notice periods, notarization rules, witness requirements and required disclosures differ by state and change over time. You are responsible for confirming that the document you generate meets your state's current requirements before you rely on it. If you are unsure, ask a licensed attorney rather than guessing.

Ownership of what you generate

The document text you produce with a generator, once filled in with your own details, belongs to you. We claim no ownership over the finished document and keep no copy of it, since nothing you type is transmitted to our servers in the first place.

No warranty

The generators, guides, and every other part of this site are provided as they are, with no promise that a given template satisfies your particular state, situation, or counterpart. Bugs happen; report them if you find one, but use your own judgment before signing anything.

Limits on our liability

We are not liable for losses connected to using this site, its generators, its guides, or any linked third-party page, to the fullest extent the law allows. That includes a document that turns out not to meet your state's requirements after you have already relied on it.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links, and a purchase made through one may pay us a commission at no added cost to you.

Changes to these terms

We can update these terms at any point without advance notice. The version posted here at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
